Shopping and relaxation in Bourgas

Bulgaria is a true shopper’s paradise. Prices are generally lower than in the rest of Europe, and even famous brand names can be had at reasonable prices. Bourgas has souvenirs, clothes, footwear and much, much more -- and it all can be found at the city's shopping centres, in small boutiques in the resort cities, and on the pedestrianised shopping streets. However, prices in Bourgas are usually somewhat lower than what you'll find in the tourist areas.

Bourgas is a bustling, industrial port city but it’s also more than that, with much for visitors to see and do. And for a spot of relaxation, we highly recommend the lovely Sea Garden Park (Morskata gradina) situated on a hill on the coast, affording an incredible view of the Bourgas Bay. This is where you’ll find the city casino and open-air theatre, and the park also provides the setting for several annual festivals. Find a shady spot on a hot day and simply take in all the beautiful flowers, trees and sculptures. It’s a place both adults and children can enjoy together.
