Culture and attractions in Copenhagen

Copenhagenis an absolute treasure trove of culture and sightseeing, and over a thousand years of monarchy has left an impressive legacy of architecture and art. King Christian IV was especially prolific and commissioned grand edifices such as the Round Tower, Holmens Kirke, the Stock Exchange, Kastellet, and Rosenborg Castle, where the Danish crown jewels are on display.

We can also recommend a quiet afternoon at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek museum, whose captivating beauty -- both in the works on display but also inherent in the building itself -- can charm even the most dedicated art hater. And since we’re on the subject of art, you won’t want to miss the National Gallery of Denmark. Or the National Museum, or the Royal Danish Arsenal Museum… the list just goes on and on.

And you simply must stop by the Opera House, which is one of the most modern in the entire world boasting magnificent performances in a magnificent setting.

We do recommend that you plan your visit to Copenhagen in advance – a little planning will ensure that you can see and do as much as possible while you’re here.
