Being IOSA certified, Cimber Sterling meets not only current legislation in the field, it also complies with the highestinternational standards as set out by IATA.

IOSA is a safety certification (ISO 9001:2000 certified) applying to airlines’ operational procedures and documents, and involves eight general items:

• Corporate Organisation and Management
• Flight Operations
• Operational Control – Flight Dispatch
•  Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance
• Cabin Operations
• Ground handling
• Cargo Operations
• Operational Security

In order to remain IOSA certified, Cimber Sterling is subject to a complete IOSA audit every second year to verify that the relevant Cimber Sterling companies comply with the standards determined by IOSA.

Accordingly, all of Cimber Sterling’s operational and safety procedures and documents have been drawn up on the basis of IOSA standards and they provide the basis for Cimber Sterling’s safety procedures as well as related training programmes and training courses. Cimber Sterling was most recently IOSA certified in the spring of 2009.

In order to maintain the level of safety provided by IOSA, Cimber Sterling collaborates with airlines that are also IOSA certified.
